Departure: at 9 a.m. (bus parking area next to the East hall of the main station)

Excursion by boat through Saxon Switzerland
After an hour bus ride we will arrive in Saxon’s capital city of Dresden, famous for its splendid Canaletto view over the river Elbe to the historic city centre, the magnificent baroque buildings of August the Strong such as the Old Bailey and the reconstructed Church of Our Lady, the numerous museums and the world famous Semper Opera. You will get to know the highlights of the old city centre in an one hour walking tour organised by an English speaking city guide. Then you can relax at lunchtime while enjoying a 3-course-menu in a traditional Dresden restaurant before we go on travelling by boat on the river Elbe enjoying a unique view to a beautiful landscape, magnificent castles and vineyards – a UNESCO-world heritage site. Our coach will pick us up in Pilnitz in the late afternoon and bring us back to Leipzig in the evening.
