6. Leipzig – bus tour around the city and to the pearls of the outer districts

1 hour guided tour by bus around the city centre and to the pearls of the outer districts of the city of Leipzig
A one-hour bus tour will take you to different historical quarters of Leipzig starting at the biggest main station of Europe. You will discover the bourgois north of Leipzig with its splendid Baroque Gohlis Castle as well as the former industrial west with its recently modernised loft-apartment houses. They are situated in an area with many green parks, canals and recreation areas. In the south of Leipzig you will be captivated by the beautiful National German Library, the Russian Church, the Old Fairground and the monument to the Battle of the Nations where Napoleon was successfully defeated in 1813. Your guide will tell you about the history, culture and famous people of the city, about anecdotes and authentic stories of Leipzig’s past and present.
